Black Dahlia

Hey everyone!

I'm back again with another Halloween look.  I've been watching to do something different, especially from what everyone else is doing.  It seems that everyone is whippin' up sugar skulls & Poison Ivies left & right & it's hard to be original when you're bombarded with all these things.  I've also been wanting to practice SFX makeup so I just thought the Black Dahlia would be something original.

Lana Del Rey Inspired

Ayyy, I've had this look in my folder ready to be posted (along with about a dozen others) for weeks.  I've just been so lazy; then busy; then sick, but here it is my Lana Del Rey inspired look:

It's not an exact replica, but I came pretty close lol.

This is another look I put together rockin' another pair or Kiwiberry1's lenses that I reviewed in my last post.  I also submitted this look to BH Cosmetics' summer extravaganza contest so I have my fingers crossed!

Hi everybody & welcome new followers, 

I was feeling extra weird after I got my contacts from Kiwiberry1 & I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for me.  
I came up with this doll-eyed look using the purple lenses I reviewed last week:

NY Mets

Three weeks ago I went to a Mets game with a few friends & I wanted to do a look inspired by my guys; though it is hard being their fan most of the time lol.
This was my look:

Neutral eye with Gold Liner

This is an older look, so I may not remember all the products I used to create it & I don't think I ever got around to posting it on Instagram -___- 


This was a super simple look I threw together because I was bored & I had just gotten my package from Sugarpill & wanted to use their Goldilux loose shadow.  If you've been following me, you'll know that I am OBSESSED with Sugarpill products.  They are so amazingly pigmented & easy to work with.

I did this look right after I did my Golden Emerald look so there are still remnants of purple liner, woops! haha

Golden Emerald

Hello again!

I've been trying to get away from pink & purple--though I did use purple--but I just can't abandon Surgarpill products!  This look also was posted to my instagram last month & I'm STILL playing catch-up with the blog.  This look also isn't a full-face look, it's just too much work to put on all those layers just to wash them off when you're done lol.  

So this is what I came up with:

Jeeze I feel like everytime I post I'm apologizing!  Thanks so much to everyone for sticking by and being patient with me.  As I mentioned in my last post a few weeks ago, I went to California to visit my guy for 10 days & I had such a good time!  But I wasn't expecting my sister's friend to come stay with us this week so that kept me away from my blogging duties longer than I had expected, but I'm back!  And while I was gone I did take photos of some looks I did over the past few weeks (If you follow me on instagram @LexiFresh then you got a sneak peak of most of them!)

Lime Crime Snow White Inspired Contest: Evil Queen

       Hey everyone!

I was reading through my blog subscriptions at work yesterday like I do every morning & I discovered that Lime Crime was hosting a makeup contest inspired by Snow White.  I was super excited because I’ve always wanted to try LC products, but they are WAY too overpriced for me, so I love that I have the opportunity to try and compete for some.  This is going to be a super long post (both text & pics) so you may just want to skim through the pics, but if you want to see step-by-step of the eye makeup keep reading!

       The look I came up with was inspired by the Disney version of the Evil Queen because I’ve really been diggin’ purple lately.  Before I actually pulled out my cosmetics, I decided to come up with a design on a face chart & this is what I created:

Amber Rose Inspired Look

As some of you might already know, themakeupbee.com is hosting yet another makeup contest & this time it is a celebrity inspired one.  Obviously as my titled so clearly puts it, I entered the contest with an Amber Rose inspired look. 

If you’ve been following my for the past couple posts you know I just got my Sugarpill palettes—not the heartbreaker on sadly—and I’ve been obsessed with using those bold colors as much as possible, so I chose the following look to recreate.
