Slowburning Chaos

I've been playing with Urban Decay's Electric Palette & I created a little pictorial for those of you who are a little stuck on how to get all these crazy colors workin' for you.

ELECTRIC Greens

I had a few gift cards lying around, so I finally got my hands on Urban Decay's new Electric palette & I'm in Love.  The shadows are a little bit powdery for my liking & I find that some shades get really washed out when you blend them, but I do love the shades & their staying power.

I've missed blogging so much the past couple months, but I'm back!!  

This week I had the pleasure of meeting some of Urban Decay's marketing department at a mixer they hosted at Madame Geneva in SOHO for local bloggers.  There I was able to see their holiday collection in person & OMG it's gorgeous!  If you've been following me for a while, you know that Urban Decay was one of my first loves.  They're products are so pigmented, & long lasting & they've got a wide array of colors to choose from.

I had such a blast meeting Tina, Kristin & Ellie of UD & the other bloggers that attended.  I was also super excited that I got to leave with some goodies to review for you guys.

I can't wait to dive into these products & put some looks together.  So far my FAVEEE product is their NAKED Illuminated powder, but you guys can already see that this collection is amazing.  What will you guys be picking up from UD Holiday 2013?

This look is so, so old!  10 weeks according to Instagram.  I've been horrible lol.  I wore this a few months ago when I went to the mall with my family & I was actually asked by the manager at the MAC counter to bring in my resume because of it.  Yay!

It's been a few weeks since my last post, I've been really busy & then got sick, but I'm back & feeling better finally.  I'm super excited, because this is my 100th post!  Woohoo!!! I wanted to do something special for this one, but I'm so behind, I'll just wait for the next milestone.  Booooo!

Today's look was a kind of practice run I did the night before the Kristin Ways fashion show (click here to read that post).  Obviously I didn't use it, she had a very specific look in mind, but I did love how it came out.  I didn't realized until just now when I was flipping through old posts that this is almost exactly like my Queen of Blending inspired look except for the small  splash of red on the eyes & the gold lips. (that post here).  Woops!!  So much for keeping it fresh! haha.

Kristin Ways Fashion Show

Hello Lovies,

Ever since I picked up MAC's haux & sorcery eye shadows last month, they have quickly become daily products  for me.  Usually I go for bright and pretty looks, but lately the weather in NY has been a bit dull & dark & it's really been coming through in the kids of looks I've been wearing.  This is an older look too, but I wanted to share some photos & products with you all anyway.  Enjoy!
