Soft, Bridal Look

Welcome back beautiful people, 

I've been thinking about where I'd like to take my career as a makeup artist & lately I have been considering bridal work.  I always see gorgeous photos of brides & admire their soft, clean & angelic makeup & I would love to one day be able to make a woman feel beautiful on her special day.  Luckily for me Aqeela's--of Diary of a Makeup Geek--  19th weekly tag was wedding inspired & I thought I'd jump in on the action.  Here is the look I sent to her:

Ever since I picked up MAC's haux & sorcery eye shadows last month, they have quickly become daily products  for me.  Usually I go for bright and pretty looks, but lately the weather in NY has been a bit dull & dark & it's really been coming through in the kids of looks I've been wearing.  This is an older look too, but I wanted to share some photos & products with you all anyway.  Enjoy!

Today's look is one I wore to my cousin's birthday party a few weeks ago.  I really liked the smokey eye I came up with for my Rihanna Inspired look a while back, but I just hate re-wearing the same exact looks, I like to be creative & switch things up.  At least a little bit.

I'm back again with another Halloween look.  I've been watching to do something different, especially from what everyone else is doing.  It seems that everyone is whippin' up sugar skulls & Poison Ivies left & right & it's hard to be original when you're bombarded with all these things.  I've also been wanting to practice SFX makeup so I just thought the Black Dahlia would be something original.

Wearable Color for the Workplace

If you're like me, then you LOVE colorful shadows.  Also if your're like me you work in an office or some other place of business where you can't really express yourself the way you'd like with your makeup.  Fortunately my job isn't too strict & I do get away with a lot of looks that other places wouldn't allow, but I wanted to show you all two great ways to add color to your eyes without over doing it.
