I hope everyone had a happy, fun and above all SAFE new years.  I know I did!  I'm hoping that now that the crazy holiday season is over I can get back to posting regularly & more up-to-date things, for now we're playing catch-up again!!

New Years Eve Look

Hello my beauties, 

I'm sorry for being away, I've just been busy trying to get work as a MUA & it's been pretty time consuming.  I've already done two fashion shows and a photo shoot and have another scheduled for this weekend.  If you want to see any photos from those events check them out here on my Facebook page.

As some of you may already know Makeup Geek hosts weekly challenges where the test their members' skills by giving them a look, style or color scheme to incorporate into their look.  A few weeks ago their challenge was mermaid inspired.

Just wanted to share a quick look I created a few weeks ago.  If you follow me on instagram you're probably bored with my blog because my looks go up there weeks before they make it here lol.  This isn't a full face look because it was a work day & as you know I don't wear much besides shadow & liners to work.

As you guys can tell I'm still playing catch-up, but the good news is this is my last SUPER old look & I can start getting into last month's looks that I decided to put on hold. Yay!


For this look, I wanted to do a slight smokey eye.  I was going to work, so I didn't want it to be TOO dramatic.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I don't really wear foundation everyday as it is heavy & I like to let my skin breath as much as possible so the only thing I did use was my press powder from Lancome & MAC: Marine Life (L/E)
