Dark Autumn Night

Hey Loves!

This look has been a long time coming.  I wore it about a month ago when I hung out with some friends, just as the Summer was ending.  I hate letting go of the Summer weather, but I absolutely LOVE fall fashion & makeup, so since Fall is upon us & orange is going to be a big color this season I wanted to create a smokey look with it.

I don't know if I've publicly announced this yet, but I am in LOVE with Rihanna, so when I heard her new song premier this week I had to do a look inspired by it.

LOTD With Some Drama

A few weeks ago I created this look of the day:

I really loved it, it was super plain, but still really pretty at the same time.  I used MAC's Orb on the lid & kid & cork int the crease, NYC liquid liner & Maybelline On-by-one mascara & finished off the look with Elf's natural lash kit.

Skin Care

If you follow me, then you know I am OBSESSED with makeup.  But just like every addiction, cosmetics come with some drawbacks & your skin bears the brunt of it.  The only thing we can do to combat the blemishes & breakouts that come with this addiction, is to be as obsessed with how we care for our skin.  I've got my skincare process down to a science & I'm going to share my regime with you today.

Hi everybody & welcome new followers, 

I was feeling extra weird after I got my contacts from Kiwiberry1 & I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for me.  
I came up with this doll-eyed look using the purple lenses I reviewed last week:

As you guys can tell I'm still playing catch-up, but the good news is this is my last SUPER old look & I can start getting into last month's looks that I decided to put on hold. Yay!


For this look, I wanted to do a slight smokey eye.  I was going to work, so I didn't want it to be TOO dramatic.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I don't really wear foundation everyday as it is heavy & I like to let my skin breath as much as possible so the only thing I did use was my press powder from Lancome & MAC: Marine Life (L/E)

Hello again!

I've been trying to get away from pink & purple--though I did use purple--but I just can't abandon Surgarpill products!  This look also was posted to my instagram last month & I'm STILL playing catch-up with the blog.  This look also isn't a full-face look, it's just too much work to put on all those layers just to wash them off when you're done lol.  

So this is what I came up with:

I'm Obsessed with Pink & Purple!

I can't help it; every time I reach for  my Sugarpill palettes It seems the first thing I do is dip my brushes into Dollipop & Poison Plum, but they are the most amazing shades of pink & purple I've used yet & they go so well with one another!

Ocean Gradient

My creative juices haven't really been flowin' since summer classes started, so I kinda forced myself to sit in front of the mirror, but I'm glad I did.  I knew I wanted to use blue, but blue shadows can go disastrous really fast & you can end up looking like this:

Colourful Tropical Look

Jeeze I feel like everytime I post I'm apologizing!  Thanks so much to everyone for sticking by and being patient with me.  As I mentioned in my last post a few weeks ago, I went to California to visit my guy for 10 days & I had such a good time!  But I wasn't expecting my sister's friend to come stay with us this week so that kept me away from my blogging duties longer than I had expected, but I'm back!  And while I was gone I did take photos of some looks I did over the past few weeks (If you follow me on instagram @LexiFresh then you got a sneak peak of most of them!)
