Blast from the Past: There's Fire in Her Eyes

Hi guys,
I'm super excited about this post because it is my first time posting as a guest blogger.  I submitted this look to Sahily of Pretty in Pigment for her "Blast from the Past" series she has going this month.  A few weeks ago I'd been looking through old looks I did a few years back and thought "what in the world was I thinking" & coincidentally Pretty in Pigment had the same idea.

Here is the original look:
There're just too many things wrong with this execution I don't even know where to being lol

And here's the updated version:

Ah, much better!

And I put together a super short pictorial for those of you who'd like to try this look too:
I started off by defining my brows & priming my lid with Urban Decay's Primer Potion
I used regular white cream clown makeup as a base just on the lid, for a lack of a better product & it seems to work pretty well & last all day.
Then I started applying for the inner corner outward starting with Sugarpill's Buttercupcake
Then placed Sugarpill's Flamepoint next to that and blended the two together.
Next I placed Sugarpill's Love+ down & blended it with Flamepoint
Then I used MAC's Kid to blend out & Urban Decay's virgin as a highlight

Finally I added Urban Decay's pencil liner in Zero to the waterline, NYC's liquid liner to the top lash line & smudged some of NYX's black bean on the lower lash line, added some ELF lashes & ta-da!

For my lips I used NYX's Mega shine gloss in Pink Rose.

Have you guys ever committed a makeup crime?  Share below if you have & recreated it :)
