Shock me like an Electric Eel

MAC's Electric Eel is one of those eye catching colors that looks gorgeous in the pan, but proves difficult to pull off when applied; at least for me.  I think I was finally able to achieve a "wearable" look using this shade though.  Finally.

Straight Brows & Mossy Eyes

I've been wanting to try straight brows for a while now, so I finally took the plunge the last month & chopped off half of my brows. I didn't quite figure out how to fill them in so I hated them.  You can see how ridiculous they are below.

LOL I can't even, they were horrible!  Not only did I not extend the tail enough, when I did extend the tail you could see a dramatic difference between my natural brow & when it was painted in.  Ew.  Moving on, ignore the stubby brows!

Fairy Princess

I had a few people ask what products I used for this look today, so I thought I'd just bang this post out right away.  Halloween is just around the corner & conveniently we have theme days at work on Saturday's so it forces me to come up with so Halloween looks to share with you guys.  Today we did a fairy theme to help promote the new, GORGEOUS pressed pigments that launched in store August 1st.

Daddy's Little Girl

Since I've started working so much I haven't been taking many pictures of my makeup, but I did get so shots of a Veronica Inspired look I wore to work a while back.  I didn't use Daddy's Little girl in this look, but the lip recipe looks similar to it.

It's Official, Haley Williams X MAC

All I can keep saying is "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

I had read a few weeks ago; maybe even a month ago, that Haley Williams, leading lady of Paramore in case you didn't know, was collaborating with MAC on her own line of products. Then I read devastating news last week VIA Spectra that the line was pulled.  BUT THEN Haley Tweeted this little gem earlier!

Poison

Hello lovies,

I was looking through my collection at all my neglected makeup & was inspired to pull out my UD Deluxe Shadow Box for old times sake.  This was one of my first palettes ever; I got it about 4 years ago.  My first was the UD Alice in Wonderland palette.  This is the look I came up with:

Night Out Look

Good evening everyone!

It's been a few weeks since my last post, I've been really busy & then got sick, but I'm back & feeling better finally.  I'm super excited, because this is my 100th post!  Woohoo!!! I wanted to do something special for this one, but I'm so behind, I'll just wait for the next milestone.  Booooo!

The look I'm sharing with you all today is a few weeks old, I posted it to Instagram first, but I also shared it with Aqeela for her 20th Makeup Tag which was a night out/party inspired look.  Here's my look:

Silver & Gold

Hey babes,

Today's look was a kind of practice run I did the night before the Kristin Ways fashion show (click here to read that post).  Obviously I didn't use it, she had a very specific look in mind, but I did love how it came out.  I didn't realized until just now when I was flipping through old posts that this is almost exactly like my Queen of Blending inspired look except for the small  splash of red on the eyes & the gold lips. (that post here).  Woops!!  So much for keeping it fresh! haha.

Well anyway, without further ado, here it is:

Yung Rapunxel

I am soOo excited to swatch and review MAC's newest lip shade Yung Rapunxel, their collaboration with Azealia Banks.  I've loved her ever since my friend showed me 212 on Youtube.  Her style is amazing & I love her IDGAF attitude.  & I'm really glad I ordered mine when I did because it looks like the website says it's out of stock.
